At Solidi, no two days are the same. As a small, fast-moving team, we all get the chance to dive into everything—shaping strategy, designing products, improving customer experiences, and sometimes pitching in on the little things that keep the wheels turning. There are no sidelines here; everyone is hands-on in the work that drives change.
We’re here to disrupt, not defend. Traditional finance is built on protecting what exists. We’re building what comes next. Where others see problems, we see opportunities waiting to be unlocked. And while some worry about the present, we’re focused on creating the future.
Crypto and blockchain are still at the very beginning of their journey. Think of the internet in the mid-1990s: dial-up modems, endless possibility, and everything still to play for. Today, 90% of the UK has never used a crypto or blockchain-based product. Our mission is to flip that number—making this technology simple, trusted, and part of everyday life.
If you thrive on challenge, want your ideas to shape real products, and believe finance is ready for reinvention, you’ll feel at home here. Solidi is where ambitious people come to do the best work of their careers and change the financial system in the process
We're a remote first, results orientated organisation. We want to maximise our investment in you by ensuring that you have the working environment and hours which suit you.
Everyone gets 28 days holiday which they can take whenever they want. We don't force you to take bank holidays on the day. Want to work through Christmas? No problem. What's more, you can carry over as many holidays as you wish.
Crypto and blockchain are two of the biggest innovations in Computer Science and Finance in decades and with recent regulatory changes, the industry is set for one spectacular growth. Join us and be at the forefront.
Everyone in Solidi has input into our products. Don't like the way something works? Suggest a fix! Want to add a new feature? Justify the need and do it!

Solidi is a UK-registered cryptocurrency exchange and custodian, spun out of the University of Cambridge Accelerate Programme, and one of the first to be licensed by the FCA. We are focused on providing fast, secure, and intuitive crypto exchange and custody services to customers in the UK and Europe. As we scale up, we're looking for a product-focused front-end developer to help expand and improve our web and mobile platforms.
This is a unique opportunity to take part in the complete redesign of the main website and mobile platforms, redesigning and rebuilding everything from the ground up. As an early team member, your decisions will shape how thousands of users interact with crypto securely and intuitively.
You’ll join a small, collaborative team and take ownership of the frontend, including:
Our current tech stack includes Nginx, React, PHP, Bootstrap 4, MySQL, Python, RabbitMQ, Fabric for deployment, and Mocha+BackstopJS for unit and integration testing. We’d expect you to be familiar with most of these - but more importantly we expect you to be a fast learner.
We have a very flat management structure - you’ll report directly to the CTO, but expect to work closely with the CEO.
Our process usually involves completing a questionnaire, initial video interview, a portfolio review and technical interview, and further interviews where you'll meet the people you'll work with. We'll keep you fully informed along the way.
We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and non-traditional career paths. If you’re excited by our mission, we’d love to hear from you even if you don’t tick every box.
This position comes with a 6 month probation period
